We are now over a billion light years from home.
We have explored planets, stars and entire galaxies but what of the larger view, the universal landscape?
Wapping the position of 1.6 million  galaxies within 1.3 billion light years of the "Milky Way" reveals that they cluster like grains of dust on a veil of celestial cobwebs.
the nearest  galaxies are represented in blue, the most distant in red.
